We are coming together as a community to make a paper chain to decorate the shop for Yule! Write your wishes of something to grow on a green paper or something you want to let go of on red. The house elves will assemble the chain as wishes are made. On Yule we will burn it to release everyone's hopes for the next year into the universe. The goal is to wrap the entire cafe!

We just want to thank everyone who sent and brought donations to support our "It Takes A Village giveaway"! Yesterday was a wonderful day! We were able to support several families during these most difficult times. The supplies that we had left over will be sent to varies agencies. Including the The Yellow Hammer org., DHS and others. Your efforts and generosity will continue to support families as these supplies are shared with those who need a little extra help during the holiday season. Thank you so much again! And Happy Holidays from all of us at Books Beans and Candles!🫶

We are set up and ready serve the community! We have diapers, wipes, formula, feminine products and a few more things to give away! We also have hot chocolate ready and a sack lunch to share! Plz join us and spread the word to those who can use a little helping hand today!

Community support!

Donations for our "BBCMS It Takes A Village Giveaway" have already started coming in, and we are so thankful! Some have asked to donate monetarily, so we have created this QR code to make it easier. We will then take the funds and buy more supplies closer to the big day! Thankyou to those who have already contributed and to those to come! We also plan to have a sack meal available that day as well! Our Village is really coming together! Please spread the word!🫶 You can bring donations during business hours from now until Dec 6th. Our Giveaway will be Saturday, December 7th, from 10am-4:30pm
