Through activity, research and advocacy, we provide opportunities for people with a physical disability or chronic health condition to pursue a healthy, active lifestyle. Lakeshore Foundation is a fitness, recreation, sport, research and advocacy organization for people with physical disabilities located in Birmingham, AL. Lakeshore's Lima Foxtrot programs serve our nation's injured military.

Congrats to the Lakeshore Demolition on taking 5th place at this weekend’s Metal and Muscle Tournament, taking down the WWAR Warriors in their last match of the weekend!

The Lakeshore Demolition went undefeated in Day 2️⃣ of the Metal and Muscle Tournament today, defeating all three of their opponents, and are looking forward to finishing the tournament tomorrow with one more win! Let’s go, Demolition!

We're excited to announce our annual power soccer tournament is happening at Lakeshore December 13-14! ⚽

During the 2025 Slam in the Ham Tournament (formerly Power Soccer League Day), seven teams from around the southeast, including our own Lakeshore Force and Lakeshore Charge, will compete in 16 games over the course of two days. All games are open to the public and admission is FREE, so mark your calendars to join us for a fun weekend of competition! The Lakeshore Demolition headed to Houston where they started competition in the Metal and Muscle Tournament earlier today, facing the TIRR Texans and reigning Division 1 champions, WWAR Generals.
While the Demolition were unable to secure a win in the first day of competition, they’ll be back on the court tomorrow to face WASA Lightning and Shepherd Smash. Let’s go, Demolition!
