Overdose Awareness Walk in Walker County at the Walker County Courthouse Square on Sunday, August 31st. The Walker County Recovery Community commemorated those who were lost to overdose and walked around the courthouse, along with holding a candlelight vigil.

Saturday, August 30th, our outreach worker, Shannon Worthy, represented ROSS at Bre’s Ministry Overdose Awareness Event at Oxford Lake Park. This event commemorates those lost to overdose and celebrates their memory along with those in recovery bringing awareness. One of our “Boots on the Ground: Where is Your Narcan at?” tables today at the Gadsden Mall in Etowah County. Thank you to the Gadsden Mall for allowing us to give Narcan and resource information to the community.

Be sure to stop by one of the locations and grab Naloxone. We want to thank Self Recovery, Starting Point Outreach, and Silver Linings Recovery who will be assisting us on this day with our staff at the different locations! We also want the thank the places that are allowing us to set up tables to give Narcan out to the community along with resource information!

Madison County locations for Save a Life Day on September 25, 2025!

“Boots on the Ground: Where is Your Narcan at?” locations. There are two locations today in Jasper and Gadsden! Be sure to come out and get Narcan, a life saving tool which reverses the effects of an opioid overdose.
