Our team was honored to attend the Third Annual Sexual Assault Awareness Month Conference at the University of Alabama yesterday.

We had the opportunity to connect with attendees, share resources, and be part of important conversations around awareness, prevention, and support. At ROSS, we recognize the connection between trauma and substance use and remain committed to providing compassionate, person-centered support.

On Monday, April 27, our team attended a community resource fair at the Birmingham Public Library.

We connected with over 50 attendees, distributed 48 doses of Narcan and more than 50 fentanyl test strips, and shared information about ROSS and the services we offer. Opportunities like this allow us to meet people where they are and provide tools that support safety, awareness, and recovery.

We are grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up, learn, and support one another.

Our outreach team was proud to be at the Stronger Together Family Resource Fair in Opelika this past Saturday.

Thank you to our outreach specialist for showing up, connecting with the community, and sharing resources that support recovery and wellness. Events like this are a reminder that when we come together, we truly are stronger together.

We were honored to attend the 10th Annual End Addiction Walk in Birmingham this past Saturday.

Ten years of coming together for one cause is something truly special. This event continues to bring awareness, remembrance, and hope to individuals, families, and communities impacted by substance use.

At ROSS, it means so much to stand alongside others who are passionate about recovery, advocacy, and saving lives. We walked for those we’ve lost, for those still struggling, and for everyone finding their way in recovery.

We were honored to be part of Calhoun County Recovers this past Friday. It is always powerful to come together as a community to have real conversations about recovery, share resources, and support one another.

At ROSS, we believe recovery happens in community, and events like this remind us why we do what we do every single day. Seeing individuals, families, and organizations show up with hope, openness, and a willingness to learn is what moves our community forward.
