After graduating from the UAB School of Nursing with a Master of Science in Nursing degree and working in labor and delivery, she returned for a Post Masters Nurse-Midwifery Certificate. Now, with more than three decades of experience, she reflects on the School’s lasting impact on her career and the privilege of caring for women and newborns.
