Meet Cara Atkinson, our Student of the Month! Cara is a 2nd semester AMNP student from Gardendale, Alabama, proudly following in her mother’s footsteps as a UABSON alumna.

Reflecting on her nursing school journey, she shares, "My best experience has been my involvement in the Student Nurses Association. As an AMNP student, I was worried I would not have enough time to grow roots here at UAB, but I could not have been more wrong. SNA welcomed me with open arms. I now serve as the Public Relations Director for a community that has provided me with the opportunity to grow and lead every day."
