⚠️ Winter Storm Watch – Important Information for OxyMed Patients ⚠️

OxyMed would like to remind all oxygen patients and any patients who rely on electricity for medical equipment (including oxygen concentrators, CPAP, and BiPAP machines) to monitor the weather closely and have an emergency preparedness plan in place ahead of the forecasted winter storm and potential ice conditions.

• 🚨Generators are strongly recommended for patients who depend on electricity for medical equipment.
• 🚨Oxygen patients should ensure all backup tanks are full.

• 🚨Please bring in any empty tanks now for refills as you make your storm preparations.

• 🚨If available, we may be able to provide a limited number of additional backup tanks; however, quantities are limited.

🚫 Please be aware: If roads become icy or are closed, OxyMed technicians will not be able to deliver tanks or service equipment.

We strongly encourage you to make arrangements now for yourself or your loved ones who rely on medical equipment requiring electricity. While we hope widespread power outages do not occur, it is critical to be prepared and have a backup plan in place. If you are unable to use your supplemental oxygen, experience respiratory distress, or have any medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
