Congratulations to - BUN - for being awarded the 2024 Lou Wooster Public Hero Award for their work to improve the health of local communities.

The award was presented by the UAB School of Public Health during .

BUN's most visible project, Magic City Blight Busters, has been cleaning up 8 Birmingham neighborhoods year-round for 4 years.

BUN also secured funding from the City of Birmingham Government, Birmingham City Council, and Jefferson County, Al District Two Commissioner Sheila Tyson for ToolBank USA to open an affiliate here later this spring, the !!

Looking for youth ages 11 to 16 and their primary caregiver to participate in 3 surveys and earn some money! {Both have to participate.}

Join us at the Fountain Heights Rec Center this Saturday, March 23, from 8 - noon for an opportunity for both parent and youth to answer a brief survey and each receive $25 gift card.

Another $25 each to complete the follow-up survey in one week, and a another $25 each to complete the third survey in one month.
