To the municipal building inspector that called me today to question my credentials, qualifications and my report for a residential new construction home: First, I’ve never had such a phone call from someone that is suppose to be a professional. Second, you should NOT even have my report.
I assume from you calling me you were embarrassed and intimidated because you missed stuff. We should both be trying to make sure the buyer is getting a quality house for their hard earned money. I don’t work for the city or county, I work for my client. Besides it’s 2024 and not 2014 from things you were quoting. My rant is over!

It breaks my heart to get these kind of texts after less than 3 months in their new house:

Hey Terry, We moved into a new construction house in June and have had quite a few issues. We were given your contact information and recommended to reach out to you to schedule a detailed home inspection. Do you have any upcoming availability?

Everyone else has a month so I guess we can too! Not sure why they chose April? I guess because it’s my birthday month and they know who the best home inspector is! JK!
