Mentorship can shape a career. For UAB Heersink School of Medicine medical student Brenton Bicknell, it helped guide his path to ophthalmology and his decision to continue his training at UAB.

With the support of Rob Tauscher, M.D., Bicknell developed not only as a researcher, but as a future physician-leader. He'll soon begin his ophthalmology residency at UAB Callahan Eye, and we're beyond pleased to have him.
