Today, the Foundation celebrated the graduation of 6 new chaplains from the Clinical Pastoral Care Education Residency at Princeton Hospital.

The work of these chaplains, led by Dr. Cecelia Walker, is at the heart of Baptist Health Foundation’s mission. We believe that spiritual care is critically important to patients, physicians, and team members. May God bless these graduates as they answer this call to serve in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.

Our incredible Baptist Health Citizens Hospital family and Baptist Health Foundation came together to deliver more than 10,500 diapers and $600 to Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank.

“Our dream is for every family in Alabama to have access to diapers. We have relationships in Birmingham, but this allows us to spread out into the more rural communities." says Lindsay Gray, executive director of Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank.

Baptist Health team members: We want to support who YOU support! Do you volunteer with a local non-profit providing healthcare or health related services? Baptist Health Foundation’s Community Support Fund is accepting grant applications now through August 15 to provide financial assistance to organizations who are providing healthcare and health-related programs and services in Jefferson, Shelby, Walker and Talladega counties. Priority is given to faith-based organizations, but that is not a requirement. You can encourage organizations you support to learn more about eligibility and how to apply online at baptisthealthfoundation.com/communitysupportfund
