Our Postpartum Support Group is one week away! Postpartum can have its ups and downs—we’re here to support you through it all. Join us for a virtual group led by experienced doulas and moms to connect, ask questions, and receive support.

Day 13: 2023

This picture represents how doula care can be truly lifesaving. Alana’s birth went well, but two days later, something didn’t feel right. When her doula, Renee’, came for a postpartum check-in, she noticed warning signs and took immediate action. Alana was going septic, and an ambulance was called right away.

Because of her doula’s quick response, Alana received the care she needed just in time. “I’m here today because of my doula. My son, now 8 months old, still remembers her voice. I was truly blessed to meet this angel on Earth.”

Last year, Renee' supported Alana through the birth of her second child.

This is the power of doula support. This is why maternal health matters.

Week 2 of Preeclampsia Awareness Month is about the warning signs too many mothers are told to ignore.

“It’s just pregnancy.”
“You’re probably fine.”
“Some swelling is normal.”

But sometimes it is not normal.

Your body will often give warning signs before a crisis happens.

Please never ignore:
💜 severe headaches
💜 blurry vision
💜 swelling
💜 pain under your ribs
💜 difficulty breathing
💜 sudden weight gain

You know your body better than anyone. Trust it.

During a time when so much felt uncertain, our doulas continued to show up in the ways they could, ensuring families still had the support they deserved.

This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the mothers we serve and the doulas who show up for them every step of the way. Our mothers deserve support.

Birth is not just a medical moment—it’s a deeply human one. And having someone there who is present, attentive, and committed to care can shape the entire experience.

Mother’s Day can hold so much: joy, love, grief, exhaustion, growth, and everything in between.

We’re thinking of all the moms today, and all the ways motherhood can look and feel.

It’s also a reminder that no one should have to do it alone.

We’re grateful for every mom we’ve had the chance to support, and for the doulas who show up for them every day.
