Last week, Alex Yates, M.A. (Clinical Research Coordinator) and Callie Aiken, B. A. (‘24-‘25 Clinical Research Fellow) travelled to the Southern Orthopaedic Association’s 42nd Annual Meeting in San Marco, Fl.

In pursuit of our mission to move sports medicine forward via rigorous scientific inquiry, Ms. Aiken presented two notable discoveries from the American Sports Medicine Institute () during the upper extremity breakout session.

The Blind Squirrel Society Research Awards recognize sports medicine physicians for outstanding research during their fellowship at ASMI. Awards are given for clinical science and basic science. These awards are presented annually at ASMI graduation.
