Glenwood leads the state of Alabama in providing autism and behavioral health care services. Glenwood is a non-profit agency dedicated to serving children, adolescents, and adults with autism and other behavioral health needs since 1974. We provide an array of over 30 comprehensive services for children as young as 18 months old up to adults in their senior years, along with their families and caregivers. Glenwood’s treatments and services are creatively tailored to enhance each person’s opportunities for success.

The Kindergarten Program provides a specialized, individualized learning environment for children with autism, focused on building essential behavioral, communication, and academic skills that support successful transitions into home school systems.

What began as a pilot program with Hoover City Schools quickly doubled in size, leading to this newly renovated space!
