Just one year ago, on September 3, 2024, Connect opened its doors with 1 BCBA, 7 full-time RBTs, 8 full-time clients and 2 social skills clients.

Today, we’re proud to serve more than 50 clients with an incredible team of 5 BCBAs (and counting) and more than 40 RBTs across two clinics. 💙

Last night, we threw a 1st Year Down celebration where 11 standout RBTs were awarded peer-voted superlatives for going above and beyond. We’re truly bowled over 🎳 by the passion and heart our team brings to the lanes of ABA!

To every team member who believed in Connect’s dream and chose to be part of our journey - thank you for bringing your passion, your talent, and your joy to our team.

Oh! The places they’ll glow! 🎓🌟🥹

Last week, we wrapped up a beautiful summer at Connect ABA by celebrating some very special milestones. Across our Birmingham and Gadsden clinics, eight amazing clients completed their ABA journey and are heading off as future students, with several more beginning that exciting transition. 💙

Gadsden threw a glowing “Grow and Glow” party, while Birmingham celebrated with a sweet “Oh! the Places You’ll Go!” themed send-off. 🎨🎓

We’re so proud of the hard work and growth these children have shown. To the families who trusted us with their journey — thank you. It’s our greatest honor to help prepare them for this next chapter.

🌊 Water Safety Training for Autism Families | June 25–26 🌊

Join Akilli’s House for a free, two-day water safety training designed especially for families in the Autism community!

What a wildly fun day yesterday at Connect! Our kiddos got up close to some new friends like Hank the camel 🐪, Ferdinand the bull 🐂, Rosie the donkey 🐴, and more!

The smiles were as big as Hank’s hump and we’re pretty sure our staff loved him a latte more than even their morning Dunkin.

Our clients had a blast during Pet Day, where they brought their special “pets” and learned what it takes to be a loving pet owner!

They practiced being purr-fect pet parents by:
🦴 “Feeding” their furry friends
👩‍⚕️ Taking them to the “vet” for a check-up
🔗 Crafting custom leashes (because every good pet deserves a little flair!)
💖 And most importantly, showing them lots of TLC!

It was a paws-itively wonderful way to build responsibility, imagination, and empathy. We’re so proud of our little animal lovers in training!

A dream that started back in November 2023 became a reality one year ago today — and what a ride it’s been!

Today, we proudly celebrate 1 year of Brandi and Morgan officially starting Connect ABA — two of our incredible founders with vision, heart, and hustle that brought this dream to life.

In just 12 months, we've accomplished so much with our team:
🏥 3 clinic setups and move-ins
👥 50 clients being served with care and compassion
💼 Over 50 dedicated employees making a difference
📍 2 thriving locations that are growing each week.
🛒 Countless Facebook Marketplace finds
🔨 So. Many. Tables. And. Shelves. Built
🙈 2 monkey jumps, 1 swing set, and a few minor bruises
💦 An alarming amount of sweat equity
💪 And maybe one or two “what did we sign up for?” moments 😂

From a bold vision to a beautiful reality, we couldn’t have done it without all of our families and team members. Here's to growth, impact, and the amazing journey ahead.
