What do you do for yourself? What activities help to relax you? Often times we get so focused on checking off items on our to do lists that we forget to take time for ourselves. Never forget that your happiness matters more than the tasks in front of you!

It’s amazing how wonderful a hearty meal and relaxing atmosphere can make you feel after a long week! If you realize you’re feeling overwhelmed or anxious, take some time to treat yourself! Our self care is so important!

It’s amazing how healing the outdoors can be! Often times we forget how refreshed we feel after exploring the world with our senses. For me the beauty and wonderful aromas of a yard full of flowers can ease my stress. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, and don’t mind the summer heat, take a walk outside. Look, listen, and feel the world around you!

To continue with our theme of “Feeling Good”, AEB Counseling wants to know about your picks for your favorite Feel Good Tv! What shows make you laugh, feel inspired, or soothe you on your worst day?

For me, my top pick is The Golden Girls! No matter what kind of day I have had, I can always smile when I hear Dorothy give a one liner, Rose tell a crazy story, or Sofia start a sentence with “Picture it...”. These ladies can bring peace to my most stressful times.
