Today, we mourn the passing of Hydeia Broadbent, a globally recognized HIV/AIDS activist who made history as a child living with HIV/AIDS. Diagnosed at 3 years old with advancement to AIDS, Hydeia was a beacon of hope and strength. She dedicated her life to raising awareness. From sharing her story on Oprah and Good Morning America to her memorable appearance alongside Magic Johnson on Nickelodeon, she inspired countless. Broadbent’s legacy lives on through her work with the Let's Stop HIV Together campaign and the Hydeia L. Broadbent Foundation. Hydeia's compassion and courage will forever be remembered. May her spirit inspire us all to keep pushing forward in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Rest in power. 🕊️
