Beginning Wednesday, April 6, 2022, Dr. Sunena Argo will be seeing her patients at our Homewood complex located across the street at 504 Brookwood Boulevard, Homewood, AL 35209.

This move will allow Dr. Argo’s team to be supported by a host of board-certified allergists and immunologists, a talented group of seasoned nurse practitioners, and a robust clinical support team.

What do food allergies and pet allergies have in common? They can both be problematic in a relationship.

Since we discussed pet allergies and ways to manage your allergy symptoms last week, it's time to discuss food allergies.

You might not automatically associate a food allergy as being problematic in a relationship, but what if your partner eats something containing an allergen and then kisses you? Or cooks dinner and incorporates the allergen into the food? Here are some things you can do to minimize your symptoms/flare-ups.

1. Be clear about your allergy
2. Think before you kiss - it's always a good idea to have your partner brush their teeth after eating food containing an allergen
3. Be prepared whether on a date or not - always carry your EpiPen
