As advocates for compassionate care, the Patients Coalition for Medical Cannabis of Alabama is dedicated to supporting patients’ rights to manage and improve their quality of life with the use of Medical Cannabis. Our fight for doctor’s rights to prescribe and patients’ rights to receive Medical Cannabis is under threat from frivolous lawsuits amongst distributors that aim to undermine this vital progress. These legal battles not only drain our resources but also delay critical access to life-changing treatments for countless patients. We Need Your Help!



The Alabama Code 20-2A-2 was passed and signed by Governor Kay Ivey in 2021 and three years later patients are still waiting to receive their Medical Cannabis licenses due to bureaucratic red tape. The Patients Coalition for Medical Cannabis of Alabama’s Director, Amanda Taylor, is the first person to file a lawsuit on behalf of a coalition to intervene by asking Judge Anderson to dismiss the vexatious and greed-driven litigation filed by Alabama Always.
