A UABSON faculty member and an alumnus have been selected for induction into the National League for Nursing Academy of Nursing Education. Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Family, Community and Health Systems Loretta T. Lee and alumnus Larry Z. Slater will be inducted at the 2025 NLN Education Summit in September.

🪄Get ready for a night in Harlem Cotton Club style! Get your fancy Dress, your fancy Sneakers and maybe even a feather or two and come on out and have a great time with BBNA for the Harlem Renaissance Sneaker Ball on Saturday, November 15th, at the Tuxedo Ballroom.

🎟 Tickets are $50 per person and $30 for students, and will be on sale until October 31st.

The Birmingham Black Nurses Association Inc. enjoyed a rewarding volunteer experience at Birmingham Ephesus SDA Church's Health Fair, where we administered blood pressure tests and shared insights on controlling blood pressure, managing diabetes, understanding immunizations, and recognizing stroke symptoms.

Our very own Lonnitria Harvell , had an opportunity to suit up in 🚒 firemen gear.
