Located in Vestavia Hills, Dr. Melanie Hardee Spooner, and Dr. Lindsey R. Mills share the joy of creating happy, healthy smiles for Birmingham families.

From your first phone call and at each and every visit, our entire team is dedicated to creating a comfortable, caring experience for you and your family. Dr. Wood, who started the practice in 1980, Dr. Spooner who joined her in 1998, and Dr. Mills who joined in July 2020, share a common vision of providing comprehensive dental care supported by an ongoing commitment to the study of current dental research, technology and techniques. Our portfolio of services is designed to support the individual needs of patients of all ages. Directions: Our office is conveniently located in the heart of Vestavia Hills on Highway 31. From the I65 / Highway 31 exit we are approximately 3 miles north on the left. From the Lakeshore Dr. / Highway 31 interchange near Brookwood Hospital we are 0.3 miles south on the right. You will find us at 502 Montgomery Highway in the Shades Crest Professional building located across the street from the Vestavia Hills fire station.

HELP US FILL THE BOX!!

We have partnered with The Lovelady Center this year and are taking toy donations for their Santa Shop!

Their Santa Shop provides the opportunity for the women living under their care to "shop" for their children that are either living with them in the Lovelady Center, or may be under the care of DHR.

The Lovelady Center has over 500 women living in the facility and they aim to provide each child with AT LEAST 5-6 gifts. Every donation makes a difference! We would love for you to join us in supporting this organization.

We will be taking donations until December 5th!! Please consider dropping by with a toy and we will enter you into a drawing for a new electric toothbrush!
