Born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL, he received a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Biology and Doctor of Medicine degree at East Tennessee State University (Johnson City, TN). He completed his residency at the University of Alabama - Birmingham. He earned his Fellowship in Cardiology at East Tennessee State University and Fellowship in Electrophysiology at the University of Maryland. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Echocardiography and Cardiology and is a member of the American College of Cardiology.

He earned his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Florida. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and a member of the American College of Cardiology.
