We kicked off National Skilled Nursing Care Week, with the theme being “Moments in Bloom.” The festivities began with a Blooming Breakfast, followed by the planting of flowers and vegetables. In the afternoon, employees and residents participated in writing Kind Blooming Words to express appreciation for coworkers and fellow residents. The day concluded with a Blooming Salad Bar!

National Nursing Home Week is officially in bloom at Sylacauga Health & Rehab! 🌼💚

We were honored to welcome Sylacauga Mayor Matt Hubbard as he read the official City of Sylacauga proclamation recognizing National Nursing Home Week and celebrating the residents, caregivers, nurses, support staff, and healthcare professionals who make long-term care so meaningful.

To continue the celebration, our team gathered together for a special “Growing Together” baked potato bar and BBQ lunch as a way to thank the incredible staff who serve our residents with compassion, teamwork, and heart every single day.

From fellowship and laughter to food and community, today was the perfect way to kick off a week dedicated to honoring the people who help our community bloom. ✨

Thank you, Mayor Matt Hubbard and the City of Sylacauga, for helping us begin this special week in such a meaningful way!
