Sundays are for S.O.A.P
⬆️ S.O.A.P stands for subjective, objective, assessment and plan. All things we go through with each client at Ideal Medical Massage.
Let’s run through today’s schedule and see how we helped our clients with a wide variety of issues.
1st client: complains of pain in the RT shoulder. Feels like a pinch when raising their arm up overhead. Treatment includes massage with trigger point work and stretching to neck and shoulder. Full body for added relaxation.
2nd client: complains of headache/ migraine due to weather changes. Treatment includes traction to neck and back. Swedish massage and occipital release.
3rd client: repeat issue with arm pain and numbness in fingertips. Client has decreased activity and has been coming 1x a week. Treatment includes deep tissue massage and cupping to shoulder and mid back.
4th client: complains of soreness in the hips and lower legs from getting back into running. Treatment includes stretching with full body Swedish massage and leg flush to decrease soreness and speed up recovery.
Massages dont have to be considered a “treat” or something that’s done during special occasions or holidays. Massage is a great recovery tool and can help you with everyday aches and pains. The new saying should be — “A massage once a month keeps the doctor away!” 🍎
