Alabama Center for Reproductive Medicine (ACRM) is a medical clinic specializing in treating patients experiencing male or female infertility.

ACRM was founded by Dr. Cecil A. Long in September 2017. At ACRM, our team of clinicians are committed to providing the highest quality care and customer service when it comes to serving our patients. We strive to give every encounter a warm and personal touch, whether it be an office visit or phone call with a patient. We also are committed to providing our patients with the highest quality care through our experienced team of clinicians, technology, and innovation. ACRM has offices in Birmingham and Montgomery. Our Birmingham office is conveniently located in the Brookwood Medical Center Women's Medical Plaza (Suite 302) on the Brookwood Medical Center campus. Our Montgomery office is located across the street from Baptist East. We are accepting new patients and appointments can be made by calling 205-307-0484. The office accepts the following insurances: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, United Healthcare, Tricare, Aetna, Cigna, and Viva Health.

October is National Ultrasound Awareness Month, and we’re proud to recognize our talented Sonographers at ACRM for their invaluable role in fertility care. 💕👏

Our Sonographers use advanced imaging technology to:

•Monitor ovarian response and follicle growth
•Evaluate uterine health for embryo transfer preparation
•Confirm and track early pregnancy progress
•Support our providers in tailoring individualized treatment plans

Their precision and dedication ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care, while their compassion provides comfort during some of the most emotional moments of the fertility journey.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Merry Lynn Mann to ACRM!

Dr. Mann is an experienced board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist from Trussville, AL. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Science and Mathematics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She then earned her medical degree from UAB, followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas in Dallas. Dr. Mann furthered her training through fellowships in Clinical Genetics and Metabolism, as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, making her the only reproductive endocrinologist in Alabama with a board certification in genetics.

Dr. Mann returned to Birmingham more than five years ago and has focused on providing comprehensive care to patients across the state. Her expertise includes IVF, infertility treatments, reproductive surgery, and a special interest in managing patients with PCOS and those seeking planned egg cryopreservation.

Dr. Mann is happy to call ACRM her new home and is excited to see you again! She welcomes all families. She lives with her husband in her hometown and is surrounded by her large family (four sisters and all the nieces and nephews). Outside of her professional life, she enjoys gardening, crocheting, and raising chickens.
