"We signed up for MedjetHorizon as we planned to visit Italy on a MIT Alumni group vacation, but three weeks before the trip my wife had a freak accident in Oregon on a short weekend trip to visit a daughter's family.
She broke her right arm and two breaks in the left leg under the knee that immobilized her, not being able to bend or put weight on her leg.

It was a great relief to learn we were able to use Medjet to transport her from Kaiser rehabilitation facility in Hillsboro OR to their facility in Pleasanton CA near our home so she could complete her rehabilitation where our family is there to assist, eventually completing it at our home.

The service and care from Medjet was fabulous. They worked with both Kaiser regions and the two rehabilitation facilities to arrange our transfer.

Thailand has blocked all land crossings into Cambodia, making land travel between the two countries no longer possible at this time. Tourists also cannot fly directly into Siem Reap. There is no information yet on when these restrictions will be lifted.
