🍂October’s Very Own — The Eclipse Story
October does not walk in quietly. It arrives with the echo of the Virgo solar eclipse that cracked open the last days of September, tearing loose whatever could no longer stand. You may have felt it like a sudden silence, a door closing, or a betrayal you could no longer ignore. That was not an ending it was a summons.
The air shifts, and October pulls you into its current. First comes cleansing the dust and grief of what collapsed must be washed away. You find yourself rinsing not just your skin, but your spirit, whispering that you are no longer the person who walked through September’s fire.
But October is not gentle for long. The Aries Full Moon rises like a blade, hot and unflinching, and truths are revealed in its red light. Masks slip. Lies dissolve. Someone’s hands are caught where they do not belong. You feel the sting of confrontation, but instead of shrinking, you stand taller. The fire that once burned you now fuels you.
As the moon wanes, solitude presses close. But Spirit reminds you this is not abandonment, this is preparation. In the stillness, new alignments form. You taste the sweetness of future alliances, the quiet hum of people and opportunities beginning to draw nearer. October whispers: “Your tribe is on its way.”
Then, the Libra New Moon slides in, soft but powerful. Balance returns. The weight of guilt and obligation begins to lift, like scales finally tilting in your favor. You feel the choice return to your hands not what others demand, but what you desire. Harmony does not arrive as perfection, but as relief.
And just as you begin to breathe easier, the Sun sinks into Scorpio. The shadows lengthen, the air grows thick, and your ancestors step closer. You do not fear them. You recognize their presence in the flicker of candlelight, in the dreams that stay with you after waking. October ends with you seated at the threshold half in this world, half in theirs no longer mourning what was lost, but preparing for what will be reborn.
October’s lesson is simple, but fierce: you were broken open so you could be reforged.
