This is just as timely today as it was when I first wrote it. Consider those who have hung in with you. Those who have supported and encouraged you even if you stayed a little longer than expected. Some will disappear when times aren’t fun and there’s no sign of sun. Ditch the fair-weather friends...you need those that will help you weather the storm and see you through the valley.

If those around haven't the courage to see you through your valley, then they've lost their privilege to share your mountaintop!

Did you know that this is a VERY REAL problem!? While there is an uproar for justice and human rights, let’s not overlook some of the unspoken issues that are being left unaddressed. This is as old as racism and does not discriminate. It’s happening ALL OVER the world, and thriving in Alabama. If you suspect s*x-trafficking, please contact homeland security FIRST; this goes beyond your local law enforcement. This is one small victory, but we’ve a long way to go.

Homewood police on Tuesday announced the arrest of Marlette Lychelle Smith. The 26-year-old suspect is from Rome, Ga.

“In the beginning,God created the heavens and the earth....and God called the dry land Earth;and the gathering together of waters called He Seas: and God saw that it was good. “Genesis 1:1, 10
I have found an imbalance within the Christian community and would like to take a moment to clarify, if I may, the importance of honoring Earth. God dedicated almost the ENTIRE first chapter of Genesis to creation. Most consider the creation story one of man; let us be clear and show some respect to our “elders”. God created the heavens, and the earth ...FIRST. Then He crafted Earth and called both Earth and Sea by name. You’ll notice they are capitalized? That’s right, gang....because they contain LIFE. Proper nouns, if you will. God shaped the heavens in all it’s glory, and then the earth. He formed spirit..then frame. He formed the waters,the plants,the fowl of the air and the beasts of the ground before He EVER framed you. Now, I realize as egotistical, self-centered beings, we want to believe we come first. But I would challenge you to actually pay attention from here forward how The Text reads in regards to the earth, (espc rocks, mountains, waters and trees). There is reference to applause, praise, weeping and travail on their behalf. Earth is a life force with such GRAND power to promote and sustain, that God used it to mold together our frames. That means Earth is encoded in your DNA. Think about that. The term Mother Earth is not entirely pagan; we are one with it by means of our humanity. Our frames were not formed of the heavens-Our SPIRITS were! That would make us of a different vibration entirely, regardless of the reflective energy we hold which matches stars. We were shaped and formed of the earth and gifted the experience LIFE. The breath of life came from The Father, but our bodies were born from the earth. Just as an infant is cut from the chord, we too were “cut off” to find our way. Our flesh grounds us here, though our Spirits were spawned in the sky. Show gratitude to your Father, by honoring your Mother. It is through her you came, that you may search the heavens to find Him!

As cute as this guy is, I’m perfectly hoppy knowing he doesn’t REALLY have a place in todays celebration. This hasn’t been a traditional Easter, at all. But it has been a day worth celebrating, regardless. Nothing could stop me from celebrating THIS day! It’s my favorite holiday!!!Christ came to mediate. Did you know this? Just like a lAwyer serving to negotiate the terms of the law between you and opposing counsel, Christ serves as your legal defense against one that seeks to condemn and destroy you. Nothing like a pandemic to provide perspective...there has ALWAYS been an invisible threat. This isn’t new for anyone that knows and understands The Word. But Christ is ABOVE ALL THINGS. He understands the law to its fullest extent, because it rests upon His shoulders. He can carry the weight and is eager to lift yours, be it self-imposed or placed by another. Imagine that for a moment. Someone that stands between you...and the His Excellency. One that speaks up on your behalf, knowing the law, and it’s terms; it’s implications, proper application AND the truth. Knowing that EACH OF US could be rightfully deemed guilty, yet STILL pleads on YOUR behalf-whether you choose Him or not! It is because of Him that we may BOLDLY approach The Throne. Just as counsel would approach the bench, He approaches The Father and pleads for OUR mercy. It’s humbling. Despite the facts. The list of offenses that would have us ruled “GUILTY”, He cries out, “FATHER!!! FORGIVE THEM! They know not what they do!” Jesus. I am in awe of you. Thank you for interceding. For fighting. For LIVING and for DYING...just for me. For us ALL. For those that choose you, AND those that don’t. Thank you for seeing to it that despite my guilt, you’ve shown mercy and granted me freedom! I stand at the well, eager for your water. “Woman, where are your accusers!?”, He asks. “THEY HAVE BEEN MOVED AS FAR AS THE EAST IS FROM THE WEST!”, I say. When You are for me, Lord, NO MAN can stand against me. No disease. No famine. NOT EVEN DEATH!

It is with great sadness that I must inform you the doors will be closed to Silver Linings until April 30. Because the health department governs my industry, I must adhere to their guidelines, despite the true medical massage practiced here. Thanks to ALL of you who have generously sent funds. For understanding that when I don’t work, I don’t get paid. For those who, despite canceled appts, have insisted to pay for them; for those who’ve just sent money. For others who have purchased my soups and tinctures; for those who have purchased gifts-I can not tell you how much your thoughtful consideration means to me. THANK YOU.
IF you have a regularly scheduled time, we will plan to start back up at the beginning of May. If not, please know all appts for the month of April will be canceled and need to be rescheduled for then; please reach out and let’s start finding some time. YOU ARE GONNA NEED IT!!! Never forget who is in control. Never forget where your help comes from. Never forget who has led you , kept you, provided for and protected you -ALWAYS. Jehovah Rapha STILL heals! El Roi STILL sees. Jehovah Nissi STILL covers. Jehovah Shammah is STILL HERE. Emmanuel IS with us. The Prince of Peace STILL reigns. Christ STILL SITS UPON THE THRONE!!! Do not succumb to the fear and anxiety of this world. Do not bow to the intimidation of death or disease. YOUR HOPE LIES ELSEWHERE, so cleave to it and proclaim it! Exemplify the faith you claim to believe and SPEAK OVER YOURSELF AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD the promises gifted to YOU! WE ARE: healed, sheltered, redeemed, spared, covered, kept and USED! We have the power to REBUKE: sickness, disease, famine and DEATH, IN JESUS NAME-so DO IT! Christians, STOP COWERING and complaining! You have NO REASON to fear death, not EVER! Silence your mouth be it words of fear and discouragement leak from your lips. This is a time to bring the world HOPE...so BRING IT!
