Self-care doesn’t begin when you walk into my massage room — it’s built in the small choices you make every day.

For me, self-care looks like slowing down enough to listen to what my body needs.

It looks like:

Prioritizing deep, restful sleep (I swear by my grounded sheet — it helps me feel calm, settled, and truly rested)

Taking quiet moments for meditation and breathwork — even just a few minutes to reconnect

Moving my body — not just pushing yourself into exercise. Just a walk, a slow workout, stretching or yoga. Just simply moving energy

Eating well— avoid eating heavily processed foods, local and fresh is best but whole healthy foods help keep you feeling great. Supplement what your body may be lacking, speak with a nutritionist or dietitian to find what you need.

Spending time outdoors — bare feet in the grass, sunshine on my face, fresh air in my lungs… nature has a way of bringing us back to ourselves

Massage is a beautiful tool for healing, but what you do between sessions matters too.

Your nervous system craves consistency.
Your body remembers care.
Your mind needs stillness just as much as motion.

Self-care doesn’t have to be complicated.
Start small. Start where you are.

The work I offer now looks different than when I first started.

It’s not just about working out tension anymore.

It’s about helping your body slow down…
your mind quiet…
and giving you a space where you don’t have to hold everything together for a little while.

Some sessions are more therapeutic.
Some are more grounding.
Most are a blend of both—because that’s what real life calls for.

I was the kid in high school people fought over sitting in front of… just to get a back rub.
(Also the same kid who got in trouble for it more than once šŸ˜…)

Even then, I think I just knew—without knowing—how to help people feel better.

Several years later, I took the step to become licensed. I thought I had found exactly what I was meant to do…

But the environment I stepped into wasn’t the right fit for me.

I burned out.
I struggled mentally more than I expected.
And for a while, I felt really disconnected from myself.

That season is what changed everything.

It led me deeper—into breathwork, into energy work, into understanding that healing isn’t just physical.

It’s layered. It’s emotional. It’s nervous system. It’s energy.

And now… what I offer is a little bit of both worlds.

The clinical, therapeutic side of massage—
and the quieter, deeper work that helps you come back home to yourself.

This didn’t come from a perfect path.
It came from living it.

And I think that’s exactly why it matters

If you’ve been feeling off, overwhelmed, or disconnected… I see you.

This is the same style of therapeutic taping often used in sports medicine, physical therapy, and injury recovery — but it’s not just for athletes.
Kinesiology tape can help support muscles and joints, reduce strain, improve circulation, and encourage the body to move the way it was designed to.

I’m offering taping as both a stand-alone service and as an add-on to the Therapeutic Focus, formally ā€œthe stress meltā€, sessions for those working through pain, tension, or recovery.

Taping may be helpful for:
• Neck, shoulder, and back pain
• Knee or hip discomfort
• Tendonitis / overuse injuries
