♻️ The Free Dump Day Program is changing
📅 From July 1, 2026 through September 30, current property owners may apply for a Free Dump Day certificate by completing an application electronically or downloading the application from the County website.
🖥️ Applications must be submitted or postmarked by September 30. 📨
ℹ️ Please review the Terms and Conditions when applications open in July, before applying, and be sure to choose the Transfer Station location where you plan to use your certificate.
Important program details:
✅ Must be the current property owner
✅ Property must be in Cochise County
✅ Property taxes must be no more than three years behind (not including the current tax year)
✅ Property must be classified as Owner Occupied Residential, Rental/Lease Residential, or Historical Residential
✅ One application per parcel/address, up to 10 applications per property owner
Approved certificates:
✅ Are valid for one non-commercial load
✅ Cover up to 1,000 pounds
✅ Must be used at the location selected on the application
✅ Are valid during the calendar year
✅ Will not be mailed
