The Life Enrichment Department hosted an after-dinner egg hunt for the Montgomery County 4-Club! We had 25 children participate! Residents enjoyed sitting out on the patio and watching the children hunt eggs and visiting with them. There were 6 golden eggs hidden, and the children who found them were given special chocolate bunnies. Thank you to everyone who participated!

This month, the Port of Call is Lima, Peru! Lima is a longstanding, historic city rich in culture and attractions for tourists to see. Founded on January 18, 1535, by Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro, Lima was given the nickname “The City of Kings” because the discovery date was close to the Epiphany, a popular Christian festival. Today, Lima is home to over 8 million people, and hosts a blend of cultural and architectural influences from the different civilizations over the years.
