What if I said you could still enjoy eating your favorite foods while chasing your goals?

Making small changes to a favorite recipe can help provide a big impact.

The average banana 🍌 muffin recipe has between 32-53grams of carbohydrates, with 16-23grams of sugar.

The recipe listed below only has 9.6 grams of carbohydrates and 3.3grams of sugar.

That's quite a difference 🤯 it's's all about finding balance.

🍌🍌 Banana Muffin Recipe:
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 3 eggs
- 1/2c coconut flour
- 2 tbs coconut oil
- 1 tbs coconut sugar
- 1 1/2tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4c bake believe dark chocolate chips

350° for 25-30 minutes

According to the NCOA (National Council of Aging) 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated 🤯

Staying hydrated is a critical part of maintaining good health. A well hydrated system can help provide more energy, experience digestive harmony, have better temperature regulation, kidney health, detoxification, and improved brain health. They are also vital for our nervous system and muscles.

Electrolytes can play a 🔑 role in staying hydrated. They consist of essential minerals such as sodium, calcium, and potassium.

Unfortunately, well known electrolyte drinks such as Gatorade and Powerade, provide little to no nutritional factors or hydration benefits. The most active ingredient being added sugar. And don't get me started on those added food dyes 🫠

Below is my FAvOrITe recipe for clean 💦 hydrating 💦 electrolytes

🍓🍋‍🟩 Coconut Water Electrolyte 🧉

This is two servings

- 16oz mason jar
- 8oz coconut water (C2O brand is my favorite)
-8oz filtered water
- 1 lime, squeezed
- 4/5 strawberries, chopped
-pebble ice

Add to the jar, shake shake shake and serve 🧊

As we go into Easter weekend, it can be challenging to find healthy goodies to put in an Easter Basket. Often we see the products marketed for this weekend contain ingredients that may cause lowered Immunity, allergies, hyperactivity, etc.

🚫 artificial dyes may disrupt the immune system and are linked to allergies, skin reactions and hyperactivity. These are found in most candy options in the u.s.
Cadbury eggs, M&Ms, Reese's, skittles. Starburst, the list goes on and on.

🚫TBHQ- found in many candies such as Reese's, is linked to allergies, skin reactions and lowered Immunity

Here are some fun alternative ideas for Easter Weekend. I've seen some of these brands at Target and even Walmart but if you are unable to find in a store near you, they are available online on their websites or Thrive Market.

• Natural play-dough and Dye free egg Dye kits

1 mediun mashed banana
1/4c organic peanut butter
1c organic oats

1 flax egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tbs pure maple syrup
1 tbs coconut oil
1/4 tsp aluminum free baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda

Walking is a great way to improve overall health. It can increase cardiovascular fitness, strengthen bones, reduce excess body fat, boost muscular power + endurance.

To help make sure we reap those benefits, a good rule of thumb is to aim for 10,000 steps a day.

Homemade Anti inflammatory + Immunity Shot Recipe

Ingredients:
▪︎ 2" ginger root - peeled
▪︎ 2" turmeric root - peeled
▪︎ 1 lemon - peeled & de seeded
▪︎ 2 oranges (or grapefruit) - peeled
▪︎ 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
▪︎ 1/4tsp black pepper
▪︎ 3/4c filtered water
Raw honey to taste

Add Ingredients to juicer or blender. If using a blender and do not wish to drink pulp, this is where a mesh wire strainer comes in handy.

I store them in individual shot glasses with lids [ purchased off of Amazon ] for an easy grab and go. Recipe will make 5 servings.

Refrigerate & enjoy!
