What if you were as nice to yourself learning whatever new skill you need to develop now as you were when you learned how to walk? All behavior change is like learning to walk, or learning to ride a bike. You can read all there is to know about bikes, but it is not the same as getting on a bike and riding it.

Hop on the "bike" ... be kind to yourself when you fall off ... hop back on until it becomes easy :)
