Gotta share….I have been using Repechage Mineral Face Shield everyday since Morpheus 8 treatment. This product has helped with the healing process, especially the dry itchy feeling. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and it’s not greasy. The best part of my product review: on a very sunny Saturday morning, as I was preparing to go outdoors for a bicycle ride, I put Repechage on my face and neck at 10AM(yes, I applied sunscreen to my arms/shoulders). The bike ride turned into hours of outdoor time. On the ride home, I could feel the 95 degree sunshine, especially on my face and my lips were burning. I was worried my ‘fresh skin’ was getting ‘sun-burned!’ Thankfully, after 5 hours, the Repechage product with zinc oxide and protective coating prevented a very red sun burn and most importantly, it prevented sun damage! Thank you for sharing this product. 🥰

There’s a significant difference between at-home microneedling and microneedling performed by medically trained professionals.

While at-home tools can support general maintenance, medical-grade procedures are based on clinical protocols, advanced technology, and in-depth anatomical knowledge.

For example, microneedling can offer excellent benefits when used appropriately.

As licensed medical professionals, RNs and other qualified providers are trained and permitted to use FDA-cleared microneedling devices at significantly deeper levels—up to 4mm on the face and up to 7mm on the body. This allows us to safely target deeper layers of the skin for more advanced concerns like acne scars, stretch marks, deep wrinkles, textire issues and skin laxity.

Over-the-counter microneedling rollers, like those sold at big box stores, typically pe*****te only 0.25mm to 0.5mm—just enough to mildly stimulate the surface. These devices can’t match the results of medical microneedling and carry risks if not used properly (especially without proper sanitation or technique).

We always encourage our clients to consult with licensed professionals before attempting invasive treatments at home. Safety, efficacy, and results truly depend on proper technique, depth, and sterile protocols—something we prioritize in every session.
