Are you concerned about your child's speech and language development?? 🤔

◾️By age 2 your child should have 50+ words in their vocabulary and use 2-3 word phrases. And by age 3 they should have 200-300+ words and use 3-4 word phrases.

Congrats to Sara and Jenysa on getting their GOMAP certification!! 🙌 We are so proud of you and look forward to all the ways you will continue to support your early feeding patients!

Guided Oral Movements and Active Patterning for Infant and Toddler Feeding (GOMAP) focuses on improving early oral function, breathing and digestion.

Our GOMAP team can:

⭐Assist with pre and post frenectomy (lip and tongue tie release) readiness and retraining
⭐Provide education to families on typical development of feeding
⭐Support oral motor planning and development for feeding and speech
⭐Incorporate the whole family in intervention and carry over

As 2025 comes to a close and we reflect on what an amazing year it has been, we feel very grateful. Grateful for all the relationships that have been made, the milestones we have celebrated, and the children and families we have been able to help support. We have grown our EmPowered Kids family with new providers, successful educational opportunities, student involvement, and a whole lot of passion to always be learning and growing! 🖤
