What a week it has been!! 🤩

We are filled with gratitude for the incredible experiences we had doing therapy at the park! We are thankful to have such an inclusive park in our community to enjoy. To see the connection between the patients and therapists… these relationships are so special and meaningful and the heart of all the success we achieve!

Thank you to all who came out and enjoyed the Family Picnic with us! It was such a great evening connecting as a team with our amazing families! 🩶

As another week passes by, we have yet another amazing provider to introduce you to! Her love for children shines through in all she does, and we are excited to have her outgoing personality on our team, welcome Hanna!

Hanna grew up in Bismarck, ND and received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. She went on to receive her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy also from the University of Mary. Hanna has worked with children in a variety of settings including nannying. She loves to be active and led group fitness classes for several years. Hanna has a passion for supporting children with sensory and reflex integration along with attention and self-regulation. Hanna enjoys working with children as she loves seeing them overcome challenges and gain confidence. She appreciates their genuine curiosity and the growth they make each day! She loves their energy and finds it so rewarding and inspiring to be able to support them on their journey! Hanna enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, and going to the lake. She loves to travel, especially to the beach!

As we head into the holiday weekend we wanted to share more exciting news with you! Our Occupational Therapy team is growing...we have added another passionate provider to our team! Her calm presence has been such a great addition, welcome Anessa!

Anessa grew up in Bismarck, ND and received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Special Education and Addiction Counseling from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. She went on to receive her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy also from the University of Mary. Anessa is certified in the Astronaut Training, and has experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder, hyperactivity, emotional and behavioral regulation, as well as children with developmental delays. Anessa loves helping children grow, develop, and learn new skills all while having fun! She enjoys being outdoors, and loves biking, hiking, walking, and fishing. Anessa also enjoys reading, gardening, cooking/baking, and spending time with family and friends!

We are excited to share that EmPowered Kids has added another Physical Therapist to our already amazing team! She is busy in our gym working on all things PT, and we are so happy to have her on our team, welcome Kaelie!

Kaelie grew up in Bismarck, ND and received her Bachelor of Science in Spanish and Exercise Science, and Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Mary in Bismarck. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). As a pediatric physical therapist, Kaylie enjoys helping children and adolescence grow in their independence and accomplish all their goals! She has experience supporting youth with sports rehabilitation and orthopedics. Kaelie has a passion for helping her patients reach their full potential and return to the activities they love! She also has experience working with gross motor delays, toe walking, plagiocephaly and torticollis. Kaelie enjoys cooking and baking. She also enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and loves to travel!
