We are excited to welcome Elizabeth Thein, LPCC, to the Empowered Mental Health team!

Elizabeth is an exceptionally skilled Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, known for her compassionate approach and ability to help clients navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity. She specializes in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, life transitions, and personal growth, and takes pride in tailoring her therapeutic approach to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.

Originally from Minnesota, Elizabeth moved to Bismarck in 2018 to attend the University of Mary, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in 2021 and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023. Though not originally from Bismarck, Elizabeth volunteers her time with multiple nonprofits in the community and values community engagement, finding meaning in giving back and connecting with others.

Outside of her professional work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with friends and family and unwinding by reading and relaxing with her pet cat. She also loves staying active through volleyball, yoga, and hiking, and has a deep passion for travel and exploring new places. Elizabeth’s down-to-earth nature and genuine care for people shine through both in and out of the office.
