A few weeks ago I spoke to a very interactive group at LMT East in New York. This group had amazing comments and questions. One of the topics was digitally designing a denture with characterized tooth set ups. Well, I had recently started a design for my friends at Innovative Dental Technologies that was exactly what we were discussing. Here is the final result…. Yup, you can!

Today Chad asked what would happen if we needed to add a tooth or clasp to a TrueDent monolithic printed partial. I said “I don’t know… find out.” Well, I think the results speak for themselves. Way better than I what I was expecting. Nice work Chad Kincaid.

I’ve been asked by a few colleagues to continue posting pictures of what we do here… so here’s a new lower flipper. The fit is absolutely awesome. The intra oral scans allowed us to be completely plaster free on this case. I learned a little about 3shape design software on this one… I’ll take that learned information and apply it to the next partial I design. Happy printing!!!
