Be Happy Like Harper! We are so honored to be a recipient of five bags of stuffed animals from the Harper Stafslien family. In memory of Harper they hold a stuffed animal drive on her birthday each year. We are incredibly grateful to be part of keeping Harper's spirit alive and bringing a bit of comfort to children at our facility. Thank you for your generosity!

This week is Community Health Improvement Week, which is a time to honor those working in partnership to improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities. Each year, our hospitals award Community Health Improvement Grants to address community health needs- such as hunger, poverty, mental health stigma, barriers to accessing care and violence. CHI St. Alexius Health and other CommonSpirit Health hospitals in NE and IA will award over one million dollars in Community Health Improvement Grants in 2026.
