First seed catalog of the year came in the mail today! Just the thing to bring dreams of spring to this rather gray winter day.🌱🌷

This catalog is from Prairie Road Organic Seed, a North Dakota based organic seed company. Their seeds are reliable and high quality. I also recommend signing up for their email newsletter and checking out their YouTube channel...both are great sources for gardening tips and more.

Gardening didn't happen for me last year other than whatever perennials came back and annuals that had self-seeded. So I look forward to making some gardening plans for this year...especially medicinal herbs for a teaching garden. Of course I want to grow everything, so need to work on being more practical.

Just finished Robin Wall Kimmerer's new book as a family read aloud. Every word she writes is full of beauty and wisdom Words that hang around in one's head for contemplation. Words that are an invitation to reconsider, reimagine, and repair. I already can't wait to read The Serviceberry again. Very highly recommend!
