Sometimes kids freeze up when someone is mean — that’s normal.
You can help by giving them words to use when they need to stand up for themselves:
✨ “Please stop. That’s not kind.”
✨ “I’m not okay with that.”
✨ “That’s not funny.”
✨ “Let’s do something different.”

The more you talk about it at home, the easier it is for them to speak up in the moment.

💙 September is Su***de Prevention Month — a reminder that hope is real, healing is possible, and none of us are ever truly alone.

Every conversation, every act of kindness, and every moment of connection can make a difference. When we listen without judgment, show up for one another, and share resources, we help create communities where people feel seen, valued, and supported.

If you or someone you know is struggling, help is always here. Call or text 988 or chat at www.988lifeline.org to connect with caring support, 24/7.

This month and every month, let’s choose compassion, connection, and hope — together.

Our minds can often feel overwhelmed, especially when negative thoughts take the driver’s seat. But remember, you don’t need to control every thought that comes your way!

💡 What matters is recognizing when your thoughts are starting to control you and taking the power back. It's about creating space to pause, reflect and choose how to respond. You are not defined by your thoughts—you're in control of how you navigate them. 🌱
