Dacotah Foundation provides residential services for individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges. Applicants are responsible for monitoring and maintaining a safe living environment. Some duties include: medication administration, documentation of psycho-social rehabilitation services, daily activities, psychiatric and withdrawal symptoms; and assist clients in conflict resolution and de-escalation.

Our mental health technician position provides you the opportunity to build trust, rapport, and understanding with individuals with diverse life experiences and encourage hope for growth and independence.
Our Mental Health Tech positions are a great opportunity to gain entry level experience in the field. The individuals we work with contribute to our ongoing self and professional development. If you have a passion to show others their value despite life’s circumstances and encourage hope, then this position will give meaning to your work.

Although it isn’t required, experience or education is psychology, social work, counseling, or sociology is beneficial. Training is provided. A valid driver’s license in good standing and a high school diploma or GED are required. Due to certification requirements in ND for med administration, applicants with substance related legal history need to be off of probation for 5 years, at time of employment.

$15.50-$17/hr starting with the opportunity to advance to $16.25-$17.75/hr after completion of training. Flexible scheduling to accommodate family priorities, school schedules, or other employment. Every other weekend is required. Weekend pay differential for Friday 6pm to Monday 8am. Overnight pay differential $1.50/hr.

Referral bonus for current
employees. $100 for each person you refer and continues to be employed after 6 months and an additional $200 when they are employed for 1 year.

We are looking for gently used donations to get our apartments ready to go for those settling in.

Please contact Dacotah Foundation to arrange drop off or pickup for larger items. Smaller items can be donated at our main office at 600 S. 2nd St. Suite 308, south entrance. Mon.-Fri. 8-12pm and 1-4pm
