H2-Oh well… we made it work! 💧☀️🍕

We were notified on Tuesday that the City of Bismarck scheduled a water shut-off affecting our Day Center today. That didn’t stop our amazing staff from coming together last minute to make sure our Participants still had a day full of connection, games, and a good meal.

With the SuperSlide Amusement Park as our backdrop, we turned an unexpected closure into an outdoor gathering filled with smiles, laughter, and pizza! 🧩🧃

This day is a great reminder of how important our Day Centers are. Not just for meals and care, but for socialization, routine, and a sense of community. ❤️

Huge thank you to our Bismarck team for adapting quickly and ensuring our Participants still had a safe, engaging place to be today!

With the warm weather we've been enjoying and the upcoming holiday weekend it’s the perfect reminder to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful UV rays!

Did you know UV radiation is the leading cause of most skin cancers? July is UV Awareness Month, and we’re joining the American Academy of Dermatology in encouraging everyone to all year long by following three simple steps:
✅ Seek shade when outdoors
✅ Wear sun-protective clothing (check out our infographic below!)
✅ Apply a broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen with SPF 30+

🧢👕🕶 Not all clothing protects the same! Choose tightly woven, dark or bright-colored fabrics, wide-brimmed hats, and UV-protective sunglasses to help reduce your risk.

Last week, our Minot Participants enjoyed a fun-filled outing to the Roosevelt Park Zoo! There were smiles all around as they explored, connected, and soaked up the sunshine.

Rock Painting & Sweet Treats in Fargo! 🍦🎨

Last week, our Fargo Participants had a blast getting creative with rock painting—and topped off the fun with a free Dilly Bar from the Moorhead Dairy Queen!

There’s nothing better than good company, bright colors, and a cool treat on a warm day. 💙🍧
