We're Hiring!! Optometric Technician/Receptionist
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the optometric practice's daily operations. As an Optometric Technician, you will assist with various clinical tasks, ensuring a smooth workflow while delivering high-quality service to our patients.
Duties
Perform preliminary eye examinations and tests, including visual acuity assessments and intraocular pressure measurements.
Assist the optometrist during examinations by preparing patients and maintaining a sterile environment.
Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with medical office standards.
Provide education to patients regarding eye health, contact lens care, and eyewear options.
Handle front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient clinic operations and excellent patient experiences.
Experience in a medical office setting is preferred, although training is provided.
Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Revolution is desirable.
Understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage medical records accurately.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
