Meet one of our new occupational therapy assistants, Mikayla! 👋

Mikayla received her Associate of Applied Science degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from North Dakota State College of Science. Now at our location, she’s excited to work with kids of all ages and help them grow.

When she’s not at work, Mikayla enjoys walks with her dog, going to the lake, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Mikayla’s super power of choice would be super speed 👟

Her favorite season is this current one! 🍁 “I love the color change, the coziness, and the decrease in bugs.”

Her favorite childhood movie? Land Before Time 🦕

Please join us in welcoming Mikayla to the team! 🤗

Meet Kelly, one of our stellar medical billers! 🤩

After working in the hospital industry for over 20 years, Kelly was looking for a change. When she saw the job opening at Red Door, she thought, "Could this be the door I need to go through for a positive change? Do I have potential that needs unlocking?" So Kelly walked through that red door and has never walked out!!!

She loves knowing that at Red Door, there is always someone on her side, cheering her on. It motivates her to be a better person and to inspire others! 💖

Kelly's favorite team outing so far had been their trip to Arizona. She was still new at Red Door and was surprised when she found out about the trip. What did she think of Arizona? "It was pretty AMAZING!"

Does your child learn whole phrases instead of one word at a time?

This is called Gestalt Language Processing.
It's not a disorder. Nor is it an incorrect way to learn. It's simply a different way of learning a language. Use our parent guide to support the natural way your child learns.

Discover what Gestalt Language Processing means for your child’s communication. This parent’s guide explains the stages, strategies, and support to help you better understand language development.
