We were honored to welcome two passionate and dedicated professionals on Monday night as part of the Behind the Screens parent event hosted by Mrs. Kathleen Wrigley, Shiloh's Elementary Counselor.

Lt. Governor Michelle Strinden helped kickoff the event as one of the leading voices in the state's efforts to address the use of cellphones in schools. Thank you Lt. Governor for recognizing the urgency and ensuring that action was taken quickly as we are already seeing positive impacts in our classrooms!

Shiloh alumna, Hannah Woll MS, LPCC-S from The Kid's Therapy Center LLC shared how technology impacts our brains (it's not just kids!) and provided valuable insight on how parents can work WITH their kids to make 'good, better, and best' choices around technology and media.

When behavior doesn’t make sense, sleep is often the missing link.
Irritability, reactivity, and trouble focusing are common signs of poor-quality rest even if your child seems to “get enough.” Shifting a few things in the evening can help the next day go much more smoothly.
