I’m still letting this sink in — being named one of 20 Under 40 feels surreal. I never imagined being recognized for simply doing the work I love.

The calls, facebook messages, and cards from patients has been overwhelming and deeply emotional. I never realized the impact I’ve had on so many lives until now — and that has been the greatest honor of all. Most touching are the stories shared by patients about moments in their lives I never knew about — times when our brief encounters meant more to them than I ever could have imagined.

Though I’m far from perfect, I strive every day to give my best — to my patients, my team, and our community. The road hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been incredibly meaningful every step of the way.

To my family, thank you for your endless support.
To my patients, thank you for trusting me with your health and wellness.
