We had fun tonight at the 1st ever Scheels Men’s Night Out!

We have been a part of the Women’s Night Out for years. The main difference was that men buy less stuff, but more expensive stuff! They buy for themselves, not the entire family. They talk less, socialize less, and come to the store with intention and get it done. So funny!

"Being a collegiate track athlete is an amazing opportunity, but it is also very demanding on your body. I compete in triple jump and high jump, which involve a lot of single-leg power and high-impact force. Because of that, staying healthy and balanced is extremely important for my performance.
Over the past year, I have been going to Active Life regularly to keep my body in check and recover from the stress that training and competing puts on it. Since starting care there, I have noticed a huge difference in how my body feels during training and competition. I have been able to stay healthier throughout the season, and continue progressing in my events, even hitting new personal bests because I feel stronger and more balanced.

We wish good luck to the Bismarck Demons and the Century Patriots tonight in the State Basketball Championship! This is what you all have worked for for so many years. Countless hours in the gym all come down to this!

These two teams are filled with the good guys…people that help each other off the floor, even the other team… people that don’t care who gets the glory, and play with a TEAM mentality… guys that play through injuries, suck it up, and say they will rest when it’s all over. You are a great example for our youth, and the state is behind you all!

We joined with family and friends to present Mrs. Anne Volk at Legacy High School with the Teacher Spotlight Award! Mrs. Volk shows what it is like to give everything for her students and always want the best for them. Her student nominations really show how much she enjoys teaching, making the students smile and simply just making a positive impact on their lives. She had many great nominations, but here are is one thing a parent had to say.

"My English teacher is truly one of the most amazing teachers I’ve ever had. She was always so nice and understanding, never making anyone feel embarrassed for asking questions or needing extra help.

This is Paige! She has been with us for over a year and a half now! She is such a positive and fun person to be around and will never fail to put a smile on your face. Paige is from Fargo and is currently attending Bismarck State College to pursue a finance degree and compete on the volleyball team. When she is not at work or practice, you can find her hanging out with friends, traveling, enjoying a country concert, or spending time outdoors.
