I have sat with this for a while before saying anything, but my heart is honestly heavy over the ugliness directed toward the whole Modere situation and the individuals that give their time, money and future into this company. Watching people tear each other down publicly is not only disappointing, it is heartbreaking.
Let us be clear: leadership is not about who can shout the loudest or throw the harshest words online. Real leadership is quiet strength. It uplifts, it listens, it inspires, even in the mist of disagreement.
Going online to bash others does not make anyone strong or bold. It reveals hurt that has not been healed and bitterness that has not been dealt with. And while we may all feel hurt, disappointed, or even betrayed at times, what we choose to do with those emotions is what truly defines us.
Years ago, I walked through a somewhat similar situation with an upline, that I trusted, did some unimaginable things, stealing team members, sabotaging progress, and creating chaos. I was angry, hurt, and frustrated. But because of my love for this industry I chose the high road because I knew who I wanted to be on the other side of that pain.
I have learned that people often show their true character not in how they treat themselves but in how they treat others when they think it does not affect them. And the truth is, if someone can bash someone else that easily today, they can just as easily turn that bashing towards you tomorrow.
We can disagree. We can have hard conversations. But we can do it with honor, respect, and kindness. We need more of that in this industry. And honestly, we need more of it in this world.
Remember that this are our brothers and sisters that are now hurt and looking for a new future. So be kind and open because someday you will also need the same kindness and openness.
So, Let us be the light. Let us be better. Let us lead better. And if you can not be kind then be quiet.
