Mindful Monday: I sent these to my clients last week because most of what we label as “overreacting,” “lazy,” or “too sensitive” is often just nervous system dysregulation.

Not every reaction is a character flaw.
Sometimes it’s fight-or-flight.
Sometimes it’s shutdown.

Different states require different strategies.

Your nervous system is always trying to protect you..even when it’s loud or quiet about it.

Save this for the next time you feel overwhelmed or disconnected.

Regulate first. Then reflect. 🪴💚

Midweek Reflection/Affirmation: I will not abandon myself for ____. 🪴💚

Sometimes abandoning yourself looks like staying silent when something hurts, overexplaining your boundaries, choosing comfort over truth, or shrinking to keep the peace. Healing is choosing yourself..even when it feels unfamiliar.

Reflection: What action would allow you to choose yourself today?

Mindfulness Activity:
Place your hand on your heart. Take 3 slow breaths. Ask yourself, What do I need right now? Listen without judgment.
