The past 15 months have been a whirlwind to say the least. For those of you I haven't talked to you in a while here is the big update. I met my now husband at healing retreat in Ireland last year, a hurricane destroyed my home in Swannanoa last September, the handsome man in the pic below flew out to help me rebuild my life and we fell in love during that process. Curious about the Abdominal Therapy I offer?

I have studied extensively with Dr. Rosita Arvigo learning a time honored abdominal therapy that is slow, deep, external (non-invasive) massage treatment for the abdomen, lower back and hips. Rosita apprenticed with a Mayan Shaman named Don Elijio Panti for many years and I am grateful to the lineage of healers that this work has come down through to reach me.

Are you struggling with pain?

My Customized Body Work/Healing sessions represent the culmination of my life's work. Physical pain is often linked to various forms of trauma—physical, emotional, mental, or even ancestral. At the beginning of each session, we'll have a conversation to identify the best starting point for addressing your pain pattern. My initial training focused on Clinical Pain Relief, which I later taught for several years. While my background includes Trigger Point Therapy and Myofascial Release with relaxation and energetic techniques, I approach these methods in a gentler manner than most. My current massage style is best described as craniosacral inspired, emphasizing a gentle approach.

I view my work as a dialogue with the body. This dialogue can occur solely through my hands, but I may also engage you in conversation if necessary to release more complex pain patterns. Additionally, I am a Reiki Master, Pranic Healing Practitioner, and have received training in Alchemical Family Constellations. Each person and session is unique, and I am adept at combining different modalities to help alleviate pain patterns.

Then there are some clients that somehow are guided to me through internet searches that inspire them to drive hours to work with me. However clients find their way to my practice, they quickly find out that each session with me is entirely unique, tailored to their specific needs on that particular day.

At the core of my practice lies the belief that the body possesses an innate ability to heal itself. My role is to facilitate this healing process by creating an environment conducive to it. I achieve this through time-honored massage techniques customized to each individual, complemented by Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki, Pranic Healing, and Family Constellation concepts, which allow me to address emotional and spiritual blocks.
