Okay, story time.
One of my clients walked in with her glasses snapped in half… but that wasn’t the whole story.
After her first frame broke, she tried putting the lenses she bought elsewhere into another frame she had at home. The problem is lenses are cut specifically for the frame they were made for, so trying to force them into a frame that isn’t right can crack the lenses or damage the frame.
Which is how she ended up with two broken pairs of glasses.
My first thought is always the same: let’s see what we can do.
So we started trying on frames to see if we could find one that would work with the lenses she already had. That’s one of the advantages of working with an independent optician problem solving and finding the best solution for your glasses.
And of course… we also found another fun pair while we were at it. 👓
