Black Mountain Family EyeCare provides primary eyecare to Black Mountain and the surrounding areas of Swannanoa and Old Fort.

We provide comprehensive eye exams for all ages, ocular disease management, eye glasses, and contact lenses.

Our office is undergoing renovations this week. Because of this we will be unable to treat patients and sell frames. Please call our office during business hours and one of our staff members can assist you with anything else you might need. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will come visit us next week to check out our new look!

Our office will be opening at 10:00 am on Monday the 26th. The safety of our patients and team is our highest priority. We are closely monitoring the winter weather and driving conditions. If our office needs to close or adjust hours further we will update this post. If you have an appointment please know that we will contact you to reschedule should our hours change. We hope everyone stays safe and warm!

Beginning this week we will have new hours on Tuesdays. Our office will be open from 10:00am to 6:30pm. We are still open from 8:00am to 5:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Our office will be open from 10:30am to 7:00pm on Tuesday December 23rd. We will be closed on Wednesday the 24th, Thursday the 25th, and Friday the 26th. If you need any last minute gifts like some stylish sunglasses, stop in and see us on Tuesday! Merry Christmas!🎄🎅

We are happy to be supporting our community by participating in the Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry's Deck The Trees program again this year! Please consider donating online via the QR code or in person at our office to help support their Fuel Fund and keep your neighbors warm this winter. No gift is too small!

We are open until 5:00pm today if you need any last minute glasses adjustments before the holiday. Our office will be closed on Thursday the 27th and Friday the 28th. We will reopen at 8:00am on Monday December 1st. We hope everyone enjoys time with family and friends this holiday! Happy Thanksgiving!🦃

One year ago our community was forever changed by Helene. No one was prepared for the devastation, loss of life and homes, and heartbreak that it brought. It also brought our community together despite our differences. The kindness, helpfulness, selflessness and compassion that we have witnessed have shown how truly wonderful our community is and we are so proud to be a part of it!
